My experience of using the world wide web is that hypertext is placed all over the internet. From going on a website whatever its contents you will see hyoertexts to other companies, other mentioned people for e.g. it either being an advertisement or artist.
It seems apparent that any successfull world wide web (site) depends on other advertisements, thier advertisements so the website will continue to draw an audience in.

Pleased to see that you have got up and running with your blog, Nichola . Do be wary though of trying to be hasty in your answers. What's needed is more analysis in your comments - so describing the characteristics related to these questions is a beginning, but then you need to move on and think (and blog) about how the characteristics you are identifying make a difference to the world, or to users on an individual or social level.
ReplyDeleteDo you think that all these adverts represent a capitalist culture where we are drawn in and pushed towards a particular something, or does it show that we are open to many choices and have the rule as consumers as to what we want?
